Short-cuts...
The Court is managed by a Committee responsible to its trustees, the Council of SSAFA Forces Help. The present Chairman of the Committee is a solicitor, and the Vice Chairman the wife of a retired Senior Army Officer. The Committee includes retired Service officers, wives with Service connections, a Doctor and a Chartered Surveyor.
Day to day running of the Court is the responsibility of a resident Manager, a retired Service Officer accompanied by his wife. There is also a resident Assistant Manager whose primary responsibility is for the maintenance of the buildings and grounds and supervision of the small non-resident staff employed for painting, gardening and general cleaning.
A Nursing and Welfare Sister attends the Court on weekdays. However her duties do not extend to providing personal nursing services.
